BROCKTON POLICE LOG UPDATED TO SUNDAY, JULY 10, 2011

WEDNESDAY, JULY 6, 2011

12:16 a.m. Domestic violence call on Winthrop Street. Caller states his wife allegedly just hit him in the face because they were arguing over the kids. Monica Ridgeley, 41, of Brockton was charged with A&B.

3:29 a.m. Disturbance by a drunk on Hamilton Street & Belmont Street. Red headed female on steps overdosing. Ambulance sent and party taken to Good Samaritan Medical Center.

6:47 a.m. Malicious damage to motor vehicle at Mass Appliance Parts- 404 Main Street. Tires were slashed.

9:07 a.m. Domestic violence call on Allen Street. 18 year old daughter is allegedly out of control and breaking things. Jessica Docanto, 18, of Brockton was charged with A&B, 3 counts of assault with dangerous weapon, threatening to commit a crime and malicious destruction of property under $250.

9:08 a.m. Domestic violence call on Coral Street. Husband is allegedly drunk and can be violent and refusing to leave. Ronald J. Yurkievitch, 61, of Brockton was summonsed for threatening to commit a crime and disorderly conduct.

9:18 a.m. Motor vehicle pursuit started at Brockton District Court House- 215 Main and ended on Summer St. & Lyman St. Party left the court house and LT. ******** radioed and stated the party went into the parking garage and he was going to set a perimeter with others...He then yelled the party was "Taking Off" in a black vehicle and not stopping for traffic lights. Officer ***** soon picked up chase and it ended at Summer and Lyman. Richard H. Turner Jr., 57, of Rockland was charged with 4 counts of assault with dangerous weapon, reckless operation of motor vehicle, failure to stop, resisting arrest, 2 local warrants and malicious destruction of property under $250.

12:05 p.m. Domestic violence call on West Chestnut Street. Caller states her boyfriend allegedly put his hands on her and he pushed her into a mirror and she wants him removed. Miriam Baradji, 19, of Brockton was charged with A&B.

1:00 p.m. Disturbance at Lynch's Towing- 210 North Cary St. Party causing a disturbance. Michael Franklin Farrell, 49, of Brockton was charged with B&E building day time for a felony and threatening to commit a crime.

1:38 p.m. B&E investigation on North Quincy Street. Caller states the back door was kicked in and items were taken.

2:12 p.m. A&B dangerous weapon investigation at Brockton Hospital-680 Centre Street. The operating charge nurse states a female named J********** is there now getting prepped for surgery and she has a bullet in her leg. She states it has been there for 3 weeks and unknown where this happened. Dr. ******** from 110 Liberty Street wanted to report this to the police. Surgery is set for 3:00 p.m. and the victim lives on Irvington Street. One bullet fragment was retrieved from the party by the surgeon and signed over. Bullet fragment seized and entered into evidence.

2:41 p.m. Assault & Battery in progress on Spring Street. Black male allegedly assaulted another party and he is on the ground with head injury. Fredrick John Bush, 54, of Brockton was charged with default warrant.

3:14 p.m. B&E investigation on Faxon Street. Caller states some one keeps coming into her apartment and she thinks it is the female across the hall. Caller states next door neighbor is breaking in and peeing on her food. Spoke to her and she is OK now.

4:59 p.m. Rape investigation at Brockton Hospital- 680 Centre St. Caller states her 19 year old niece was raped last night and the caller and the victim are in the BHER and the caller did not know where the incident happened. Police report taken.

5:49 p.m. Gunshots call on Warren Avenue. 7 shots. Shot spotter picked up six in the area of 162 Laureston Street. Cleared and unfounded.

9:15 p.m. Overdose on Thatcher Street. 18 year old female not responsive and ambulance sent.

10:49 p.m. Domestic violence call on Grove Street. Caller states her boyfriend allegedly choked her and she is locked in her room with her sister. Brandon Miller, 23, of Brockton was charged with aggravated assault and threatening to commit a crime.

THURSDAY, JULY 7, 2011

12:56 a.m. Hit & Run in progress on Noyes Avenue. White Nissan hit his car and took off towards Southworth Street. Peter Vasilios Grantsis, 23, of Brockton was summonsed for operating motor vehicle with license suspended.

2:16 a.m. Overdose on Bouve Avenue. Caller states she took 10 pills(unknown what kind) and is not feeling well and wants to go to the hospital.

7:24 a.m. Police officer has prisoner from Kingman Street. Joao B. Martins, 52, of Brockton was charged with 2 default warrants.

7:26 a.m. Malicious damage investigation on Plain Street. Some one drove across his lawn last night and dug up yard.

8:51a.m. Motor Vehicle Stop on Forest Avenue. Christine Ryan, 29, of Lowell, was charged with foreign warrant, possession of Class A drug and operating MV with license suspended.

10:23 a.m. Assault & Battery in progress in the vicinity of 680 Centre Street. Caller states a black female in a brown car just pulled the caller out of her car and assaulted her and then got back in her car and fled west on Centre Street. The caller is now at the Methadone clinic in the parking lot. Both parties are there now and caller is bleeding and she has her child in the car. Caller has 2 year old child in car and was driving recklessly from Abington to get her morning dose at the clinic. Paper exchanged and 51(A) filed. Both parties decline 6A summonses for A&B in past.

11:06 a.m. Rape investigation on Allen Street. See the caller in the lobby. Richard Rodriguez, 32, of Brockton was charged with Rape.

11:33 a.m. Domestic violence call on Fern Avenue. Sandra A. Butler, 48, of Taunton was charged with A&B.

1:40 p.m. Domestic violence call on Dartmouth Street. Male party called and stated his brother allegedly punched him in the face and can hear another male in the background yelling. On call back spoke to brother who is 22 and he states his sister is the one who called and he didn't touch her and she is 14 and took off on her bike after calling. Caller states she kicked in his bedroom door and was throwing oranges at him. Juvenile Arrest of 14 year old for A&B, A&B with dangerous weapon and malicious destruction of property under $250.

3:07 p.m. Medical Emergency in the vicinity of 170-180 Pearl Street. Found 23 year old son not breathing. Ambulance sent and under police investigation.

3:08 p.m. Domestic violence investigation at Brockton District Court- 215 Main Street. Go to the clerks office. Henry M. Espinola III, 43, of Brockton was charged with A&B with dangerous weapon, Stalking and threatening to commit a crime.

5:41 p.m. Malicious damage investigation on Owens Avenue. Racial remarks on fence and gang related remarks.

7:19 p.m. Malicious damage investigation on Clifford Avenue. Callers car all scratched up.

11:24 p.m. Accosting on North Main Street & Spring Street. Caller states Hispanic male in multi-colored shirt and light colored van MA reg#****** tried to pull the call into the van. Caller will meet officer in the lobby of the Elmcourt Hotel.

11:38 p.m. B&E in progress on Rene Road. 2 White males and 1 light skin Black male breaking into the house and caller yelled at them and they ran out and jumped into a small white car and headed towards Crickett Road.

FRIDAY, JULY 8, 2011

2:10 a.m. Domestic violence call on Highland Street. Caller states her boyfriend is drunk and allegedly just hit her in the face with a book. Joseph Quirk, 44, of Brockton was charged with A&B with dangerous weapon.

7:58 a.m. A& B dangerous weapon investigation at Brockton Hospital- 680 Centre Street. Party just came into radiation therapy with a gunshot wound. Unknown other info. 25 year old Black male with left interior chest wall in serious condition. Possibly related to Rockland Shooting. Rockland has been notified and Brockton detectives on scene.

11:43 a.m. B&E in progress on Auburn Street. 2 males ran into a vacant house and door kicked in. Caller is in doorway and he has Toyota 4-Runner and unsure if they came out of a window or other door.

12:05 p.m. Violation of 209A investigation on Rangeley Avenue.Suspect has allegedly been texting the victim all night long. Michael A. Patricelli, 21, of Brockton was summonsed with violating abuse prevention order.

12:05 p.m. Unknown Emergency at Dunkin Donuts- 66 Montello Street.  Caller states boyfriend allegedly has been threatening her and she is locked in the bathroom. He can be heard banging on the door and she is afraid to go out. Francis A. Melchionne, 54, of Brockton was summonsed with threatening to commit a crime and intimidation of a witness.

1:38 p.m. Kidnapping in the vicinity of Best Buy- 200 Westgate Drive. Female yelling call 911 that she was being kidnapped and she was in a silver car plate # ****** headed towards Old Country Buffet. Spoke to caller and he states he is not positive on the plate of the vehicle but was sure it was not an SUV/Rav 4. He stated he could hear the two parties arguing and that the male was telling the female to get out of the car and she didn't want to get out until she go back some items.

2:56 p.m. Unknown emergency on Farnham Street. Caller states her 30 year old son is allegedly fighting with everyone. Waldimy Saint Felix, 29, of Brockton was charged with A&B.

3:32 p.m. Overdose on Weston Street. Heroin OD and female not breathing and they are not doing CPR. Ambulance en-route.

7:14 p.m. Threats see the complainant at Plum Honey Hair Salon- 471 Centre Street. Caller states that party that rents store closet to street, 1st unit allegedly threatened to kill her and her daughter. Suspect went into Luanda restaurant which is between her hair salon and the 1st unit. Jamie Miranda, 36, of Taunton was summonsed for threatening to commit a crime. Jose Osorio Galvao, 45, of Brockton was charged with interfering with police officer in performance of duty, disturbing the peace and resisting arrest.

7:24 p.m. Suspicious activity on Warren Avenue. Scott C. Claudio, 21, of Buzzards Bay was charged with foreign warrant.

9:09 p.m. Narcotics violation in progress on Plain Street. Hendricks Silva, 38, of Brockton was charged with failure to stop for police, speeding, MV lights violation, assault with dangerous weapon, resisting arrest and reckless operation of motor vehicle.

9:27 p.m. Prowler on Arlington Street. Male tried to get in his house and garage. Suspect fled.

SATURDAY, JULY 9, 2011

12:06 a.m. Shoplifting at Shaws Supermarket- 641 Belmont St. Kerri L. Faria, 42, of Brockton was summonsed for shoplifting.

1:22 a.m.. Robbery investigation  in the vicinity of Warren Avenue & Bartlett Street. Caller states he was robbed by some parties in a dark colored caravan. States he was walking and a caravan pulled up to him and told him to get in and he did so and was robbed. Unknown description of the parties. Caller is at the Elmcourt Hotel and is at front desk.

2:23 a.m. Domestic violence call on Merton Street. Baby's father allegedly hit her in the right side of her face and she states it is swollen and female is crying. Derek J. Willette, 22, of Brockton was charged with A&B.

11:24 a.m. Kidnap by a relative on Warren Avenue. Caller stated her Baby's father allegedly took her son out of the state. James C. Mike III, 25, of Edwardsville, IL was summonsed for 3 counts of kidnapping minor by relative.

4:54 p.m. Assault & Battery in progress on Vine Street. Female called and stated send the police there are people fighting in the home. Juvenile Arrest of 16 year old for A&B with dangerous weapon.

5:50 p.m. Malicious damage in progress on Fitzpatrick Avenue. Caller states his Baby's Momma is allegedly smashing his motorcycle. Tadeu Monteiro, 31, of Brockton was summonsed for A&B and A&B with dangerous weapon. Neida Tavares, 30, of Brockton was summonsed for assault with dangerous weapon, intimidation of witness and vandalize property.

6:16 p.m. Domestic violence investigation on Leavitt Street. Tori Petti, 19, of Brockton was summonsed for A&B and threatening to commit a crime.

8:07 p.m. Missing person from Ames Street. 3 year old Cape Verdean male with braids pulled back in an elastic band, blue and white shirt and blue jeans. child located on North Montello Street.

10:12 p.m. Domestic violence call on Stillman Avenue. Female caller on line yelling she needed the police right away and yelling in the back ground sounded as if some one took the phone from the caller and hung it up. Casper Leon Fort, 25, of Randolph was charged with A&B on a family member 2nd and subsequent offense and wanton destruction of property under $250.

12:38 a.m. Welfare Check at the Davis Commons-165 Carl Ave. Caller states his sons mother is calling him and states there is a male there that is allegedly giving her a hard time. Henry M. Espinola III, 43, of Brockton was charged with assault, assault with dangerous weapon, violation of abuse prevention order, threatening to commit a crime, stalking and intimidation of witness.

1:29 a.m. Domestic violence investigation on Oak Street. Kenneth V. Osborne Jr., 28, of Brockton was summonsed for A&B.

1:31 a.m. B&E in progress on Manomet Street. Flavio Fontes Montrond, 17, of Brockton was charged with attempting to commit a crime, disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace and resisting arrest.

4:25 a.m. Malicious damage investigation on French Avenue. Some one smashed window on his Acura, alarms went off and didn't see anyone.

4:43 a.m. Rape investigation on Forest Avenue. Caller states she was raped by two men and one of them is still at the above location. Ambulance sent and police report taken.

7:14 a.m. Domestic violence investigation on Myrtle Street. Female called State Police crying and then hung up. Bruno DePina, 21, of Brockton was summonsed for A&B.

8:26 a.m. Domestic violence call on Ashfield Drive. Caller states boyfriend allegedly choked her last night and today smashed windows in car and things in house. She is locked in bedroom with 5 month old. Kenneth D. Randall, 25, of Brockton was charged with attempted murder, A&B and malicious damage to motor vehicle.

10:38 a.m. Assault & Battery in progress on Legion Parkway & Warren Avenue. Caller states building to the right of pizza shop on Legion is where a White female came out from building pulling her pants up and is bleeding. A White male in jeans and black shirt was with her and the male just went back into the building. John Knapp, 42, of Brockton was charged with 2 counts of A&B and trespassing. Joel Barter, 40, of Brockton was summonsed for trespassing.

2:42 p.m. B&E motor vehicle at Westgate Lanes- 65 Westgate Drive. Ipod, GPS, Nike gym bag and misc clothes taken from vehicle.

3:40 p.m. Domestic violence call on Field Street. 3rd part call states friend called him for help because her boyfriend was allegedly assaulting her. Reynold Ramirez, 36, of Brockton was charged with A&B, intimidation of witness and malicious destruction of property under $250.

4:41 p.m. Domestic violence call on Lovett Avenue. Hysterical female on the line. Justin Sloan, 32, of Stafford Springs, CT was charged with A&B.

6:21 p.m. B&E investigation on Brett Street. B&E to the 3rd floor apartment 3 days ago.

9:12 p.m. Assault & Battery investigation at the Brockton Fair Grandstand- 500 Belmont Street. Caller states her 16 year old daughter was allegedly choked by and 18 year old male at the Fair about 10 minutes ago. Alberto DePina, 20, of Brockton was charged with A&B and threatening to commit a crime.

9:13 p.m. Narcotic violation in progress on Green Street. Christopher Dozier, 20, of Brockton was summonsed for disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace.
