BROCKTON POLICE LOG UPDATED TO MONDAY, JULY 18, 2011

THURSDAY, JULY 14, 2011

4:13 p.m. MVA Pedestrian on Farrington Street. Child ran into the side of an ice cream truck. Parents of child refused medical treatment.

6:30 p.m. Welfare Check on Chatham West Drive. Massasoit PD have a car stopped in the middle of campus with irate female who states that she has to get home because she left her 7 year old child home lone with no food while she is trying to better herself going to school. Entered the residence with maintenance and residence is clear, no child.

6:58 p.m. 911 unknown emergency on Forest Avenue. Caller was yelling that his son is hitting him. Kosantinos Liatsos, 35, of Brockton was summonsed for A&B on +60/elder or disabled person.

7:05 p.m. Assault & Battery investigation on Overton Street. Michael A. Morrow, 46, of Brockton was summonsed for A&B on +60/disabled with injury and A&B with dangerous weapon.

7:25 p.m. Narcotic violation in progress on Pleasantview Avenue & Wilmington Street. Neighbor reports men in 20's at dead end of Pleasantview Avenue and drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana. She says they pull up in cars speeding and park at dead end. They don't live there and worried about the children on the street. Constant problem and citation issued and marijuana turned into CID to be destroyed.

7:59 p.m. Domestic violence investigation on Grove Street. Ex-boyfriend allegedly broke screen door and entered her apartment without permission and spit in her face and stole her keys. Suspect stole her keys yesterday too and she just had her locks changed. Antoine Mendez, 23, of Boston was summonsed for B&E for misdemeanor, A&B and larceny under $250.

8:34 p.m. Robbery at City Gas & Service- 736 North Main Street. Robbed by two Black males wearing black/white and ran up Rutland to Vine and no other info.

9:38 p.m. Assault & Battery in progress on Weston Street. Caller reports 15-20 people fighting out in front of the house next door. 2nd caller states some of the men have baseball bats and he overheard some one talking about a knife.

10:24 p.m. B&E investigation on Herrod Avenue. Caller states she just got home and has been robbed. She states there was an obvious break in. Police report taken.

11:14 p.m. Malicious damage investigation on Edward Street. Caller states that the rear window of his vehicle was just smashed.

11:49 p.m. Assault & Battery with D/W in the vicinity of 193 North Main St. Caller states that he wants suspect removed from his apartment. He was out of breath and states that they have been wrestling. Glen Davis, 51, of Brockton was charged with attempted murder, kidnapping, A&B with dangerous weapon, A&B, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

11:52 p.m. Suspicious MV on Pleasantview Avenue. Philip Ryan Landy, 22, of Whitman was charged with possession to distribute Class D drug, drug violation near school/park and conspiracy. Joseph Zachary Palmer, 21, of Brockton was charged with possession to distribute Class D drug, drug violation near school/park and conspiracy to violate drug law.

FRIDAY, JULY 15, 2011

1:04 a.m. Domestic violence call on James Street. Daughter is fighting with father and sister. Lots of screaming can be heard in the background. She has been arrested in the past and mother was out of breath as she reported the call. Juvenile Arrest of 16 year old for assault.

2:39 a.m. Disturbance at Franks Restaurant- 265 North Pearl St. Arrest suspect at the Foxy Lady for disturbance and disorderly conduct inside the club. Katherine Mary Depippo, 35, of Fall River was charged with disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace.

3:21 a.m. Home Invasion on Auburn Street. Caller states three males, American, possibly Black. Broke into there house and tied them up. Weapons were shown and no one was hurt. Suspects left in unknown direction of travel. They were robbed. Claude Brown-Madison, 18, of Brockton was charged with A&B with dangerous weapon, home invasion, A&B with dangerous weapon and assault with dangerous weapon.

4:10 a.m. Domestic violence call on Market Street. Caller states friend is drunk and allegedly "Abusing" his girlfriend. States he just picked up a cot and dumped her on floor. Has been smacking her and male & female can be heard in background. Richard Moniz, 51, of Brockton was charged with A&B.

4:56 a.m. Larceny of MV investigation on Vermont Avenue. 2000 black Honda Civic. Police report taken.

6:04 a.m. Malicious damage investigation on Noyes Avenue. 1999 Dodge Intrepid had 2 tires slashed.

6:51 a.m. Malicious damage investigation on Edson Street. While parked at his Church on 898 Montello St., some one broke into his vehicle and stole some personal belongings.

7:12 a.m. Malicious damage investigation at TE Corcoran Company- 109 North Montello St. Garage door to warehouse damage and lock taken off and unknown amount of items were stolen. BCI called.

9:40 a.m. Larceny investigation on Oak Street. Caller states a male party in silver van and stole part of the dumpster enclosure. Alan S. Deitchman, 62, of Sharon was summonsed for larceny under $250 and trespassing.

1:53 p.m. Welfare check at Brockton Hospital- 680 Centre St. They have a 2 year old with a broken leg.

2:40 p.m. Threats see the complainant on Bellevue Avenue. The reporting person wanted to inform the police about the threats he is getting from his former drug dealer. The caller admitted that he owed over $3000 to his former drug dealer at one time and at this moment he now owes, $1,700 to his former drug dealer. Asked the caller what he is looking for from the Brockton police department. The caller wants his former drug dealer/roommate to leave him alone.

3:00 p.m. Domestic violence investigation in the vicinity of 781 Main Street. Caller states boyfriend allegedly punched her in the face and has left in a gray Nissan. Igor Fonseca, 23, of Brockton was charged with A&B.

6:49 p.m. A&B with dangerous weapon gun on Highland Street. 1 shot and suspects fled toward Newbury St. Caller states a Black male wearing a white t-shirt and dark colored shorts maybe black and pulled a gun form the rear waist band and fired at people. He ran into the area of Green Street. Carlos Bastos, 21, of Brockton was charged with unlawful possession of ammunition, deface firearm serial number, firearm within 500 feet of dwelling, unlawful carry of firearm, A&B with dangerous weapon and assault with dangerous weapon.

6:49 p.m. Motor vehicle stop at the Brockton Mini Mart- 139 Pleasant St. Christopher Cabral, 19, of Brockton was charged with possession to distribute Class D drug, possession to distribute Class B drug and drug violation near school/park.

7:38 p.m. Narcotic violation in progress on Errol Road & Courtfield Drive. Reports a gold Chevy pick-up and a silver Chevy Malibu and possibly dealing drugs on the corner. James Edward McColgan Jr., 49, of Brockton was charged with possession Class B drug. Cheryl A. McColgan, 49, of Brockton was charged with possession Class B drug.

8:51 p.m. Domestic violence call on Oak Street. Caller states there are several family members in the home fighting and she was allegedly struck by her mother. Natasha Boone, 22, of Brockton was charged with A&B.

8:52 p.m. Assault & Battery investigation on Benham Street. Caller wants to report that she was allegedly assaulted by the suspect. Cindy M. Medina-Sepulveda, 19, of Brockton was summonsed for A&B.

10:26 p.m. Assault & Battery investigation on Cross Street. Raymond Labady, 41, of Brockton was charged with A&B.

SATURDAY, JULY 16, 2011

9:30 a.m. Domestic violence call on Prospect Street. Caller states her ex-boyfriend allegedly just assaulted her and fled in her car with her 18 month old daughter. The incident occurred on Prospect but the caller is at a car dealership at 248 North Main St. Andre Jamal Hubbard, 27, of Roxbury was charged with A&B, vandalize property and use of MV without authority.

10:30 a.m. Robbery investigation at Main Dragon Restaurant- 1040 Main St. Caller states he was robbed of his phone and money at knife point around midnight. States 4 males approached him and his cousin after they left the restaurant and the caller states the males knew his cousin from school and the caller reports they took cousin and he hasn't heard from him since.

3:51 p.m. Assault & Battery investigation on Provost Street. Caller states his mother was assaulted by his brothers girlfriend. Sherie Lafleur, 28, of Brockton was summonsed for A&B.

5:39 p.m. Domestic violence call on North Montello Street. caller states his girlfriend allegedly assaulted him and thinks his wrist is broken. Janice Orzechowski, 46, of Brockton was charged with A&B.

7:01 p.m. Domestic violence call on Rainbow Circle. Caller states he was allegedly assaulted by his daughters mother. Paula Irving, 36, of Canton was charged with A&B.

7:05 p.m. Disturbance on Warren Avenue & Highland Street. Dawna Cheatham, 18, of Randolph was charged with disturbing the peace.

9:00 p.m. Larceny investigation at Super Value Liquors- 597 Centre St. When the clerk approached the suspect, he denied he had the bottle of alcohol. The clerk got a plate # and description of car.

SUNDAY, JULY 17, 2011

12:05 a.m. Disturbance on Skinner Street. Loud party and caller states 3 gunshots. David J. Simmons, 19, of Brockton was charged with 2 counts of A&B, threatening to commit a crime and intimidation of a witness.

12:31 a.m. Gunshots call in the vicinity of 73 Emmet Street. Extremely loud music and horns beeping on Emmet Street. Three separate calls have come in from different people. 2nd call states she just heard possible gunshots. Two Black males started shooting in the air and fled. Magazine and shell casings found at scene. BCI notified. Joaguin Baptista, 24, of Boston was charged with disturbing the peace and interfering with police officer in performance of duty. Nelson Frade, 23, of Boston was charged with disturbing the peace and interfering with police officer in performance of duty. Carlos Barbosa, 29, of Dorchester was charged with disturbing the peace and interfering with police officer in performance of duty.

12:59 a.m. Gunshots call-Brockton Hospital- 680 Centre St. Man with gunshot wound to neck.

1:05 a.m. Disturbance at Joe Angelo's Cafe & Deli- 11 Crescent St. Jonathan A. Cabral, 26, of Brockton was charged with 3 counts of A&B on police officer, disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, threatening to commit a crime and trespassing.

1:50 a.m. Disturbance on Packard Way. Jane Olivia Porter, 29, of Brockton was charged with A&B on police officer and interfering with police officer in performance of duty. Carlos Gomes, 25, of Brockton was charged with disorderly conduct.

7:43 a.m. B&E motor vehicle in the vicinity of 1021 Montello St. Vehicle was broken into.

8:06 a.m. B&E investigation on Ash Street. Caller states some one came in thru the front window while she was sleeping and took laptop and camera. Police report taken.

10:42 a.m. Domestic violence call on Warren Avenue. Officer flagged down. Cross complaints for threats. Estella D. Minnefield, 42, of Brockton was summonsed for threatening to commit a crime and assault. Carlos Forrester, 57, of Brockton was summonsed for assault.

11:28 a.m. Disturbance on North Main Street & Wyman Street. Brittani Anne Albanese, 17, of Brockton was charged with disturbing the peace and threatening to commit a crime.

12:56 p.m. Domestic violence call on Huntington Street. The victim was allegedly beat up by her boyfriend. She is not at this location and is near the office building at Battles Farm Drive. She is driving a Camry and refused medical treatment. Jerome Strozier, 31, of Brockton was summonsed for A&B.

1:15 p.m. Assault & Battery in progress on Elm Avenue. Females fighting outside. Gina Andrade, 39, of Brockton was summonsed for A&B and  B&E for misdemeanor.

1:19 p.m. Domestic violence call on Olive Terrace. Anthony Dew, 28, of Dorchester was charged with assault with dangerous weapon and A&B.

2:19 p.m. Larceny investigation at Walmart- 700 Oak Street. Caller stated 70 year old female allegedly stole $60 worth of merchandise. When he went to stop her she ignored him and fled in MA reg******- a green Ford Taurus. Juanita E. Moquin, 70, of Brockton was summonsed for shoplifting by concealing merchandise.

3:35 p.m. Hit & Run in progress on North Montello Street & Elliot Street. Christin D. Williams, 25, of Brockton was charged with local warrant. Raymond Patricelli, 24, of Brockton was summonsed for leaving the scene of property damage, uninsured motor vehicle and unregistered motor vehicle.

4:28 p.m. Disturbance at Stop & Shop-932 North Montello St. Christopher David Conroy, 31, of Pembroke was charged with local warrant, possession Class B drug, disturbing the peace and A&B on police officer.

5:59 p.m. Domestic violence call on Sawtell Avenue. Caller states her uncle is allegedly beating the grandmother on the 1st floor and he has locked the door and they can't get in to help the grandmother. Michael Rupsys, 55, of Brockton was charged with A&B on +60/elder or disabled person.

8:53 p.m. Malicious damage to motor vehicle on Sawtell Avenue. Donte Ortiz, 21, of Brockton was summonsed for malicious damage to motor vehicle.

MONDAY, JULY 18, 2011

12:39 a.m. Disturbance on Legion Parkway. Latoya Simmons, 29, of Brockton was summonsed for A&B.

4:02 a.m. Disturbance by a family on Sinclair Road. Caller states his girlfriend is allegedly trying to stab him. Sabina Lorthe, 28, of Brockton was charged with A&B with dangerous weapon.

6:14 a.m. Larceny investigation on Athens Drive. Some one stole 3 planters from her backyard. On going vandalism problem in neighborhood.

8:13 a.m. Larceny investigation at Davis Commons- 165 Carl Avenue. 2 tires stolen of the callers car.

8:47 a.m. Larceny of M/V investigation on North Warren Avenue. Honda Odyssey gray mini-van.

8:48 a.m. Medical Emergency on Albany Street. Caller took some bad heroin. Ambulance sent.
