BROCKTON POLICE LOG UPDATED TO MONDAY, APRIL 4, 2011

THURSDAY, MARCH 31, 2011

12:08 a.m. Robbery on Whipple Avenue in the vicinity of the 20-25 block. Delivery driver says he was making a delivery on Whipple Avenue and 2 males smashed the window in his car and showed driver a gun and asked for the money. Driver took off and no money was taken. Too dark to get description.

1:10 a.m. Police officer has prisoner. Rebecca Ann Cushing, 25, of Brockton was charged with sexual conduct for a fee.

9:05 a.m. Larceny investigation on East Jr. High School- 464 Centre St. Large amount of Copper Stolen from roof of building. Plymouth County responded for photo's.

9:07 a.m. Disturbance by a family on Colonel Bell Drive. Danny R. Hampton, 21, of Brockton was charged with disturbing the peace.

11:12 a.m. B&E investigation on Cherry Street. Found front door open and took prescription drugs. Also second floor was broken into. Plymouth County BCI called for photo's and prints.

2:29 p.m. Assault & Battery in progress on North Leyden Street & Riverview Street. Caller's daughter got off the bus and was assaulted. Ambulance sent.  Ivette Mancortes, 17, of Brockton was charged with A&B with dangerous weapon and assault.

2:56 p.m. Larceny investigation at Walgreen's-1101 Main St. David O. Fletcher, 40, of Brockton was summonsed with shoplifting by asportation.

4:48 p.m. Assault & Battery in progress on Pleasant Street. Caller state's right across the street from the fire department there is a male party allegedly slamming a female up against the wall ad he is now slamming her to the ground. Christopher Pollick, 34, of East Bridgewater was charged with A&B with dangerous weapon and A&B.

10:30 p.m. Home Invasion on Lawrence Street. 3 black males busted in the door and one male had a gun and they punched him and all 3 just beat him.

FRIDAY, APRIL 1, 2011

10:15 a.m. Man with a Gun on Lily Avenue in the vicinity of the 20-30 block. 2 males and 2 females were arguing outside and white male in a black t-shirt had a gun. BCI notified and still investigating incident.

3:52 p.m. Larceny investigation at Giannaros Package Store-430 Main St. Male grabbed a bottle of liquor and took off. Caller has the male on tape. Anthony Brown, 49, of Brockton was summonsed with shoplifting over $100 by asportation.

5:27 p.m. B&E and past Burglary. Michael Varano, 52, of Bridgewater was summonsed with unarmed burglary, B&E building day time for a felony and 2 counts of destruction of property over $250.

6:16 p.m. Domestic violence call on Highland Street. Caller is 14 years old and state's her father is allegedly beating her with the belt. Father is still in the apartment. Wilfredo Y. Yanes, 39, of Brockton was charged with A&B with dangerous weapon.

7:18 p.m. Threats see the complainant on Battles Street. Caller states that suspect allegedly threatened to shoot her house up. Alhinlto DePina, 30, of Brockton was summonsed with threatening to commit a crime.

10:33 p.m. Medical emergency at the Brockton Police Department-7 Commercial St. Overdose party in the North lot and combative. Ambulance sent and party brought to BHER.

11:06 p.m. Assault & Battery in progress on Weston Street in the vicinity of the 35-40 block. Caller states a male and female fighting on the 1st floor apartment. Charles Dean Warren, 45, of Brockton was charged with A&B and disturbing the peace.

SATURDAY, APRIL 2, 2011

1:41 a.m. Assault & Battery in progress at Joe Angelo's Cafe & Deli- 11 Crescent St. Large fight in the parking lot. 2nd call from inside requesting help and stating the fight is inside.

2:25 a.m. Police officer has prisoner from 7-Eleven-662 Belmont St. Joao Cruz, 27, of Brockton was charged with disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace. Kevin P. Vieira, 18, of Brockton was charged with OUI liquor, Speeding and improper turn.

4:07 a.m. Larceny in progress at Acclaim Medical Supplies- 33 Dover Street. Caller state's he is security and across the street there is a party stealing packs of shingles in the parking lot and the MA reg is ******- Timothy E. Vilk, 49, of Brockton was summonsed with larceny over $250.

8:41 a.m. Assault & Battery in progress on Weston Street. People arguing and fighting in the 2nd floor apartment. Andy Lobo, 25, of Brockton was charged with A&B. Nina M. Sanchez, 21, of Brockton was charged with A&B.

8:45 a.m. Disturbance in the vicinity of 158 Belmont St. Male out front and yelling and screaming at funeral patrons. Party transported to BHER for evaluation.

10:43 a.m. Overdose in the vicinity of 91 Spring Street. Female state's a group were doing drugs and one male fell out of truck and possibly not breathing and the others took off. Ambulance sent and matter settled.

12:58 p.m. Motor vehicle stop on East Street & 277 Summer St. Cesar Chinchilla, 26, of Randolph was charged with unlicensed operation of MV, no inspection sticker, window obstructed/nontransparent and MV operator refuse(False name PO) identify self.

1:10 p.m. Robbery at Rite Aid- 725 Centre Street. Black male with a gun robbed the store and he was wearing a mask and a red sweatshirt and thinks he was young and about 5'5. He walked up to the worker and said "give me the money, give me the money" and fled on foot out the door in unknown direction.

1:18 p.m. Vandalism in the vicinity of Prospect Avenue. Damage to three vehicles. Police report taken.

1:32 p.m. 911 unknown emergency on Denton Street. State police got a call from a female and stating she was outside and says it sounds like a domestic between a male and female. Roberto Mendes, 36, of Brockton was charged with A&B and witness intimidation.

2:56 p.m. Domestic violence investigation on Chester Avenue. Caller reports that suspect has been allegedly assaulting her since Wednesday and wouldn't let her leave or talk to her mother. Transported victim to Bat bus terminal and she will be going to Dorchester to get away from all of this. Edwine Dourdan, 49, of Mattapan was summonsed with A&B and kidnapping.

8:43 p.m. Domestic violence call at Lorraine Crayon Company- 146 Court St. Caller state's on the 8th floor there is a male and female allegedly fighting in the hallway and caller state's girlfriend found out he was cheating. Corie Fletcher, 33, of Brockton was charged with A&B with dangerous weapon.

9:14 p.m. Domestic violence investigation on North Warren Avenue & Prospect Street. Caller state's his wife just picked him up and allegedly started slapping him in the face. He jumped out of the car and is wearing a Red Sox hat and jeans, brown coat. Helen M. Figueroa, 41, of Brockton was summonsed with A&B.

9:23 p.m. Assist fire or ambulance at Mainspring House- 54 North Main St. Guardian Angels report female jumped out of moving vehicle and has back injury. This happened a couple of days ago in Mattapan.

SUNDAY, APRIL 3, 2011

1:36 a.m. Motor vehicle stop on Belmont Street & Manley Street. Adrian Ocampo, 28, of Bridgewater was charged with OUI liquor, marked lanes violation and speeding.

2:04 a.m. MVA at 252 Main Street. Frantz Cadet, 61, of Quincy was charged with OUI liquor.

7:15 a.m. Hit & Run in progress in the vicinity of 610 Pleasant St. Perikles T. Karakostas, 21, of Braintree was summonsed for negligent operation of motor vehicle, leaving the scene of property damage, leaving the scene of personal injury & death, speeding and marked lanes violation.

10:21 a.m. Arson & Bombing report taken for 59 Riverview Street. Caller got up this morning and he noticed side of building burned and found a gas can near by. The fire inspector will be notified and BCI, State police and fire will investigate.

10:37 a.m. Assault & Battery investigation on Colonel Bell Drive. Caller stated that his wife allegedly hurt his daughter. Jules Noncent, 37, of Brockton was summonsed with 3 counts of A&B on child with injury.

1:51 p.m. Malicious Damage investigation on Pleasant Street in the vicinity of the the 531 block. Shot pellets into window pane. Police report taken.

5:50 p.m. Assault & Battery in progress at Westgate Lanes- 65 Westgate Drive. 15-20 people fighting inside the building. Parties(all friends) do not wish to pursue the issue. All left the premises.

6:46 p.m. 911 hang up call on Moody Street. Honorae Dale, 39, of Brockton was charged with A&B.

8:28 p.m. Disturbance on Montello Street in the vicinity of the 910-920 block. Juvenile arrest of a 15 year old for 3 counts of A&B and 3 counts of threatening to commit a crime.

9:19 p.m. Open and gross call on Montello Street in the vicinity of the 670-674 block. White SUV with parties having sex in MV. Moved along and matter settled.

MONDAY, APRIL 4, 2011

1:25 a.m. Motor vehicle stop at 227 North Montello Street & 38 Elliot St. Domingos V. Santos, 40, of Brockton was charged with OUI liquor(3rd offense) and improper operation of motor vehicle.

2:04 a.m. Overdose on Franchine Drive in the vicinity of the 50-60 block. Mother thinks her daughter is overdosing. 22 year old female having a reaction to heroin and taken to BHER.

8:06 a.m. Check property at the Redemption Center- 325 North Montello St. Caller is waiting outside of the building and state's the back door has been damaged and is wide open and he is scared to enter without the police.

8:14 a.m. Larceny investigation on Perry Avenue. 2007 red Honda Accord with 4 tires stolen and car is on cinder blocks.
